Value of Respect by Bernie Mac

Like many other people, it was a surprise to hear Bernie Mac died this weekend. As I was reading a Chicago Tribune article on his life, I saw this quote.....

"If you let people put tags on you, you'll never be able to remove them," he said. "You've got to make people respect you. Respect is bigger than dollars and cents."

I wish every teenager in America (or anyone for that matter) could understand the importance of living with respect.
